About Caneland Central
Caneland Central is the largest shopping centre in the Mackay region, conveniently located in the city centre.
When it opened in March 1979, Caneland Central offered the region’s only Reids Department Store, Big W, Woolworths and 60 specialty stores. Four decades later, the centre has expanded to become home to over 200 retailers including Myer, Target, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, JB Hi-Fi and Best & Less and a beautiful dining precinct.
