Works to the Woolworths pedestrian entry and carpark create the need to relocate the Centre’s Taxi Rank.  From Monday 18 September, the Centre’s main Taxi Rank will be located near the Coles entry and Policebeat office.

Disability transport services will continue to use their existing drop off point near the Coles Entry, leaving 3 bays for taxi vehicles.  The Taxi drop off point on Matsuura Drive (near The Coffee Club) will remain operational.

The Taxi Rank relocation is expected to be temporary whilst Mackay Regional Council build the new Bus Station on Mangrove Road.  Once the new Bus Station is operational, we plan to permanently move the Taxi Rank to the current Bus Station location.
