The season of giving is here, and our wonderful charity gift-wrapping volunteers are back to help make your Christmas shopping even sweeter. Visit one of our two gift-wrapping stations and let the team at Caneland wrap your presents beautifully, all while supporting local charities that make a difference in our community. *Larger parcels measuring one metre or more on any side require a minimum $5 donation.

BMA CQ Rescue
Based in Mackay, BMA CQ Rescue operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing critical aeromedical care and urgent search and rescue assistance across Central and North Queensland. Their highly trained crew responds when every second counts, reaching remote and hard-to-access areas to deliver lifesaving care when it is needed most.
Whether it is a serious accident, a medical emergency or a search and rescue operation, BMA CQ Rescue is there offering hope and help from above.
QRAT (Queensland Remote Area Tracking)
QRAT (Queensland Remote Area Tracking) Mackay is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation dedicated to helping those in need across our region. The Mackay team is always on call to assist in search and rescue efforts and to provide relief during natural disasters, offering vital support to people facing hardship and uncertainty.
The Neighbourhood Hub
The Neighbourhood Hub is a not-for-profit community organisation based in Mackay offering vital services and programs to children, families, multicultural communities and individuals experiencing hardship. Their team delivers family support, financial wellbeing advice, social connection activities, emergency aid and much more all with compassion and connection at the heart.
Ronald McDonald House Mackay
At Ronald McDonald House Charities, we are dedicated to supporting families with seriously ill or injured children. Our mission is to ease the burden families face during medical treatment by providing a comforting, safe space to call home. We understand the emotional strain of caring for a child in need, especially when it means travelling long distances for medical care. Through the generosity of our community and supporters, we offer a vital home-away-from-home for families during their most challenging times, keeping them close to the care and support they need.
