More About the Show
Based on the film Madagascar, this fun-filled musical follows Alex the Lion and his friends, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo who leave the Central Park Zoo after Marty dreams of life beyond the zoo. Their adventure takes an unexpected turn when they end up stranded on the island of Madagascar, where they meet King Julien and a group of lively lemurs. As they adjust to life in the wild, Alex’s instincts challenge their friendship. With catchy songs and lots of laughs, the story celebrates friendship, adventure, and discovering where you truly belong.
